Chess club is focused around one thing: Chess. Chess is believed to originate as early as the 6th century in Northwest India, used to improve strategy, and entertainment. Chess Club focuses on what strategies are used to win this game, and how to perfect your skill to creatively find new solutions to difficult predicaments. Chess has been proven to increase concentration, memory, and analytical skills.

Goal

The collective goal of the Chess Club is to expose students to a fascinating game that they can play for life. The students will also develop their ability to think strategically and critically, learn to focus their mental energies, and, most importantly, have a great time together.
